After skipping most of High School-I skipped classes at the University of Minnesota. Dropped out and joined the United States Air Force. I served in Korea and Italy for four years as an Air Force Broadcaster (think Good Morning Vietnam)-Got out in 1995-worked at WISN as a news producer until I moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and became a producer of "The E! True Hollywood Story". I currently am a producer on the E! late night series "Chelsea Lately". Married another Nicolet Alum Jodi Been last year and life is great. Until Dec, 2012---then we'll see. |

My favorite story regards a short lived class called "note-hand". The teacher named Ms. Legge was calling out attendance. She calls, "Dan Isaacson?"--I say, "that's me, but everyone calls me Skip"...which was complete bullshit but for some reason, I thought it was hilarious. For the next several weeks-she called me Skip-and everyone laughed. She caught on eventually, which may be part of the reason I didn't pass that class...that and my poor attendance record. |
