It really hasn't been 20 years, has it?!! Fabulous job on the website guys..so fun to look people up!
OK, here's the quick and dirty. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in business and shortly thereafter moved to Chicago with Kim Perlson (Tepper). I worked as an editorial assistant at a local magazine for a year but soon realized the publishing world wasn't for me. I "fell" into politics and worked as a political fundraiser for several years, working as a finance director in Chicago on various local, state and national campaigns for democratic candidates. The last campaign took me to Boise, ID, where I stayed for 4 years before returning to Chicago. Soon thereafter I met my husband (thank you, Suzanne!) and we married and lived in Chicago for the next few years. Though I still am passionate about politics (go Barack!)I moved to nonprofit fundraising and worked for the University of Illinois at Chicago. We moved to Denver last labor day and just had an adorable little boy in December. Can't wait to see all of my old friends and catch up!! |
